Why is Vacuum Press Dried Wood Best?
Because the wood is dried under vacuum while being pressed, there is minimal cupping and twisting which means:
> the wood contains far less tension so it is much easier to process through your saws and planer.  Easier processing increases the longevity of equipment and reduces maintenance costs.  

(PLUS - it is just a whole lot more fun and safer to work with!)
> the effect of reduced cupping and twisting is significantly less waste for much higher yield (and lower costs).

Specializing in hardwoods, we offer double live edge slabs up to 48" wide as well as random width hardwood lumber.
